Job Title: Multimedia A/V Coordinator Duration: 6-12 months temp to perm for high performers.
Interviews: There will be 2 or 3 rounds of interviews.


Summary: Responsible for supporting and maintaining in-house audio-visual equipment and non-print media assets. This includes operating, maintaining, distributing, installing, configuring, repairing, and upgrading various electronic products while ensuring their optimal performance. This person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training and assistance where required.

Qualifications:
Looking for someone to be the first-line-of-support.
Experience working with A/V and teleconferencing / videoconferencing systems.
Experience with Skype for Business and Microsoft Products.
Ability to manage project tasks, vendors, for on time completion.
Analytical, creative and methodical in problem solving
Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
Strong customer-service orientation.
Self-motivated and directed.
Keen attention to detail.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Required:
Understanding of IP Video, video production and live streaming principles
Skype for Business Video conferencing
Crestron, Amp, Speaker, Projector, TV, Microphone integration principles
Audio and video conferencing techniques
Certification(s) in A/V and Microsoft products

Responsibilities:
Implement and support communication solutions
Set up, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for events and functions such as City Council Meetings, Meeting Rooms, presentations
Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of AV hardware problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions
Diagnose and correct multi-media system issues
Monitor sound feeds to ensure quality
Ensure equipment is installed according to designated layout
Test and resolve equipment issues
Maintain high level of customer service and high standard of technical execution for a variety of events under time and budget constraints
Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future AV equipment and corporate technology needs.

Collaborate with organizational policy-makers to establish and enforce proper AV practices and procedures
