  • Coordinates interview schedules throughout the hiring process
  • Manage the graduate/internship selection and hiring process of candidates
  • Conducts administration of recruiting activities for assigned functions which including the input of draft job postings into applicant tracking system (Harvard Careers), maintain applicant status throughout recruitment process, closes out requisitions.
  • Coordinate and participate in event management, candidate management, resume and telephone screening, advertising
  • May draft offer letters and facilitate pre-employment screening and reference check process
  • Works with recruiters to source and maintain a data base of outreach agencies and sites to advertise and post jobs externally based on hiring manager recommendations.
  • May assist with and participates in recruiting activities, such as career fairs, general employment services and university-wide marketing and employment branding.
  • Assists in the gathering, preparation, and analysis of a variety of employment data relating to sources, advertising effectiveness, turnover, minority employment, recruiting campaigns and related items as required.
  • Works with Campus Services managers as the point person for the internal bidding process for service and trade positions that must be posted internally before being posted externally.
  • May review resumes and screen applicants for applicable background and skills
  • May participate in various sourcing activities to attract passive candidates
  • May identify new and creative ways to leverage social media for recruitment and branding efforts.
  • Contributes to the overall department goals by accomplishing assigned duties as required and participating in special projects
  • Other duties as assigned, in response to changing needs of the group
