Must Have Skills

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Business-IT Consulting
  • Experience of working in retail industry and preferably exposure to working on Manhattan or Sterling Order Management Systems
  • Project experience in OMS implementation will be considered plus
  • Worked as liaison between Business Unit(s) and IT on projects and enhancements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player with willingness to collaborate
  • Strong analytical and problem solving / decision making skills
  • Strong capability to execute tasks required in projects and enhancements
Job Description Problem and Scope Definition
  • Work with Retail Supply Chain and other IT and business teams to fully estimate scope and plan project accordingly
  • Define problem description and benefits of solving the problems
  • Identify key stakeholders and construct stakeholder analysis
  • Identify project risks and mitigation strategies
Requirements Gathering
  • Partner with team to identify key process stakeholders
  • Facilitate requirement gathering workshops, elicit and document requirements
  • Close open items captured and next steps for writing the requirements
  • Be accountable for requirements signoff with appropriate client leads
Business Analysis
  • Analyze, build hypothesis, draw conclusions and define solution structure
  • Develop and present summary recommendations, including relevant people/process/technology solutions and industry specific comparisons
  • Create and maintain business process, requirements, and functional specification documentation
Quality Assurance and User Training
  • Support the creation of test plans - including end user acceptance testing
  • Perform testing duties as needed, working with end users and project teams during the design, construction, testing and implementation of modifications to systems
  • Education and training of end users
