Title : Sr. Business Analyst
Location : NYC, NY

The Sr. Business Analyst role will play a key role in the initiation and implementation of business process improvement initiatives.

These activities will include:

  • Identifying business requirements and drafting business cases, charters, and other project documentation
  • Managing data gathering and analytics tasks
  • Developing metrics to measure performance and capturing baselines to measure against for continuous improvement
  • Developing visual data representations including process flows, graphs, presentations, reports, dashboards and other decision support tools
  • Developing supporting documentation, metrics, etc to identify areas for improvement initiatives as well as measuring initiative success.

  • Good awareness of the IT project life cycle
  • Ability to draft and organize project documentation
  • Ability to collect business requirement and translate the business goals into information requirements
  • Awareness of data visualization
  • General understanding of data integrations between systems and information flow
  • Ability to profile and explore data sets from various systems to identify relevant data points to be used for initiative identification and implementation success metrics
  • Proficiency in charts, pivot tables, dashboards, and creative data presentation

Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly
