Department Profile
The Finance Division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide. Finance protects the *** franchise by serving as Client of the Firm?s books and records and by contributing to firm wide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships with ***?s various industry and government regulators and also serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community. Finance plays a critical role as advisor to ***?s various businesses and its senior management team.

Position Description
The Structured Notes FCG team is looking for an associate level candidate to support the structured note trading desk. The business unit trades structured notes, interest rate & credit default swaps, US treasuries, exchange traded notes, FX options, listed futures, and asset swaps. In addition, the desk earns investment banking revenue by assisting clients in issuing structured debt. This role will include daily interaction with the trading business unit, production and reporting of fully attributed P&L, market risk analysis, balance sheet analysis, and interaction with diverse groups across finance, treasury, operations and the front office.The optimal candidate will be an analytical, highly motivated individual with 2-4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities include:
Production of the fully attributed P&L? Month-end close? Balance sheet analysis/substantiation? Daily interaction with desk? Process reengineering to improve efficiencies? Quarterly disclosures? Ad hoc request from the desk and other internal clients

Skills Required:? 2-4 years of work experience? Fast learner & self-motivated? P&L production experience preferred? Experience with fixed income and/or derivative products preferred? Accounting/Finance degree preferred? Strong analytic and problem solving skills? Proficient in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)? Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Top three skill sets/must haves you manager is looking for:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)
- P&L production experience preferred (preferably in some type of derivative product)
