JOB Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as primary contact person for carrier's product evaluation lab and is responsible for clear communication of detailed technical issues

Work closely with R&D teams to manage project development status and mitigate issues and concerns

Works very closely with carrier's technical teams and internal R&D teams on a daily basis to ensure issues could be addressed in a timely manner

Obtains and disseminates up to date carrier specifications to internal teams

Tracks all project deliverables internally and 3rd parties against the agreed project plans

Provides leadership, direction and support to R&D teams to ensure the successful completion

Provide direction and technical support to R&D teams to ensure the successful completion of the device certification on time

Manage the development of customer requirements and product acceptance specification

Work closely with carrier's technical teams to schedule interoperability testing and communicate status on product launch

Perform and/or evaluate various test cases for product under development to ensure compliance with carrier requirements

Coordinate with field engineering to performing IOT or field reported issues (travel may be required on short notice)

Manage project risk/mitigation and provide status updates to management team in a timely manner

Coordinate meetings and/or joint investigations with carriers' subject matter experts and 3rd party developers to troubleshoot and resolve blocking issues

May oversee resolution of post-launch field problems and product issues

May be assigned special projects from time to time like launching new services/features

Skills and Abilities

Exhibits good listening skills and comprehension.

Effectively keeps others adequately informed by presenting information to top management, using the appropriate communication methods.

Collaboration skills and have history working effectively within a broader cross functional organization with both internal and external address technical issues

Strong background in CDMA, UMTS/GSM and LTE specification and device.
